ABA THERAPIST (Applied Behavioral Analysis)


Job Summary FSG is seeking a certified and credentialed ABA Therapist this is able to work with children between the ages of 3-5 in schools and child care settings. The therapist works with children directly in the classroom that have ongoing behavioral issues and with children on the Autism Spectrum. The goal is to develop long term attainable outcomes for the child that focuses on behavioral change. Intervention is one hour each for each child/student and is continuous until sufficient progress is made. Registered Nurse


Job Summary NY Enrichment Group is seeking a Registered Nurse that enjoys working with communities. The RN will work with NYEG’s partnering agencies including Early Childhood and Head Start Programs. Job Responsibilities The RN will coordinate and oversee all health and safety practices that adhere to the National Head Start (HS) Performance Standards. Monitor each child's health by performing periodic health checks, observations and screenings including vision, height, dental and weight. This also includes managing all health and nutrition components of the programs in accordance with federal and state regulations, implementing the medication policy including administration of medication, and monitoring records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Music Therapist


Job Summary FSG is seeking a Licensed Music Therapist to lead therapy programming for our partnering agencies in Manhattan, Bronx and Brooklyn. The types of groups the therapist will work with will include school age children in our partnering schools and seniors with our partnering senior centers. We aim to provide all of our participants a place where they are able to fully express themselves through creative arts, creativity and individuality as we support everyone through their journey. The candidate must be able to develop activities, stimulate discussion, and lead 60 minute group sessions. They will need to create a warm and supportive environment that fosters empowerment and encourages participation and engagement. Through the use of various activities the therapist must be able to execute quality therapeutic programming to improve the participant’s social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical well-being. Aging Social Worker


Job Summary

  • Food Services Group is seeking a Social Worker for 6 hours a week. The Social Worker will provide seniors with Case Management services to improve the quality of life for Queensbridge adults, aged 60 and over, to allow them to live healthier and safer lives in their own community and to successfully age in place.
  • These services include assessment and re-assessment, care planning, arranging for services, follow up and monitoring. It may also involve counseling and advocacy, supportive contacts, and help with paperwork and
  • applications for benefits and entitlements. In addition, home visits will be routine and necessary. The Social Worker will support the NNORC program (Neighborhood Naturally Occurring Retirement Community) a program dedicated to maintaining and improving the quality of life of Seniors (60 years and older).

MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST


Job Summary NY Enrichment Group is seeking a Mental Health Therapist (LMSW, LCSW) to provide mental healthservices for our Early Childhood and Head Start partnering agencies in Brooklyn, NY. The licensedtherapist will provide clinical services oversight to children experiencing complex behavioral health challenges in the Head Start centers. Emphasis is on providing a whole-person approach to care and
addressing physical and behavioral health. Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies potential health problems through assessment of children’s physical and mental status, daily living skills, coping patterns and challenges they may be experiencing in the programs
  • Deliver medically necessary care coordination services
  • Interoperability of evidence-based treatment plans and documentation for data collection and outcomes
  • Ensure annual age-appropriate behavioral health screenings using evidence-based tools

COMMUNITY PROGRAM NUTRITIONIST (Part Time and Spanish speaking preferred)


NY Enrichment Group is seeking a Registered Program Nutritionist. The Program Nutritionist must beenthusiastic and exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to the communities weserve and demonstrate the ability to motivate and educate. The PN will work with NYEG’s partnering agencies including Early Childhood and Head Start Programs and other potential partners. Job Responsibilities: The Community Program Nutritionist will conduct Nutrition Counseling for multiple Head Start sites throughout NYC for children between the ages of 2-5. S/he is responsible for implementing health and safety practices that adhere to the National Head Start (HS) Performance Standards, alongside nutrition intervention and counseling to a diverse population. Monitor each childs health by performing periodic health checks, observations and screenings. Screenings include interpretation of anthropometric measurements, blood pressure, lab results, food restrictions, and developmental milestones. Nutrition Counseling:

  • Provide comprehensive nutritional assessment of children, such as food restriction requirements.
  • Review anthropometrics to identify and follow-up on children whose growth pattern may be of nutritional concern.
  • Discuss child’s health and family dynamics with staff and other health professionals.
  • Document all notes in electronic records.
Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Experience with community programs, child nutrition, including Head Start
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred

Math and ELA Tutor


NY Enrichment Group a division of the Food Services Group, Inc (FSG) holding group company is seeking an ELA and MATH Tutor. This position supports and further builds on our Enhancing Communities campaign that we rolled out in 2016. The Tutor will work with NYEG’s programs including Preventive Clinics, Schools, After School Sites and other. The Tutor must have an extremely strong background and understanding of ELA and MATH. Ultimately the Tutor must provide the students with as much instructional support as possible to get them ready for all the standardized NY State exams. Job Responsibilities:

  • Discuss child’s progress and express any concerns with center staff, site director andfamily
  • Assist students with homework assignments and use/provide further enrichment material.
  • Use the NYS Common Core Curriculum to review and build skills in reading, writing,and math
  • Keep accurate documentation for each class and record progress
  • Classes will consist of 6-8 children ranging in grades from K-12
  • Each Tutoring session is 1 Hour
